After the Temple Ceremony and a few pictures with the photographer, a torrential rain storm moved through Lindon. It cleared up an hour or so but the yard was soaked. We made a quick change of venue and moved the reception to the cultural hall. Family and ward members all chipped in to get things moved from our house. Many of us were really disappointed we could not use our yard but the cultural hall turned out great.

A ward member put up the sign for us. The image was taken the day after the reception. Of course it was sunny and warm. Sir Richard III and a few others took the images below.
This post will have lots of miscellaneous images of the reception. I hope you enjoy.

Rachel and Jimmy were very good about staying in the line and greeting guests. We had great support from family and friends.... thank you.

The brides maids were very floriferous
!

Why does our family like to make funny faces? Perhaps it is a genetic thing !

Pat (Jim's Dad) and his band played music from the beginning to.... beyond the end. We were putting things away and they were still playing. They did a wonderful job.
Young and old alike enjoyed their music.

When the beat goes on, ......... Swingggggg it !!

Pat had double duty..... play in the band and stand in line.

It was very nice to have Angela and Chad come from the land northward (Seattle Wash.).

Chad, you Da Man !

Kim and Greg and Anne and Doug were a huge help with the reception move. Not only did they provide physical help, but also emotional assistance.
It was a bunch of fun; I am glad that everything worked out. Pat's band was awesome!
ReplyDeleteYEAH!! SO glad to finally see pictures. My dad said the band was awesome too.
ReplyDeleteLove the girls' dresses and shoes. :)
I could show you a picture of me throwing my boquet- it looks identical to Rach's... the dress, the fingers, facial expression, etc.
I loved all the pictures. Wish I could've been there. Congratulations again!! (I still want to see all the hard work you put into your yard too.)
